Day Fourteen: Giving Glory to Him
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me bless His holy name!”—Psalm 103:1
This week our missionaries have been sending pictures like wildfire. How precious are these little faces from just one children’s home in Honduras! If anyone else has read the words from our team members, I know you feel it too. Overwhelming love. Being in the midst of what God is doing is indescribable with words. So precious. So humbling. Life changing.
We are so invested in this mission trip. We feel so connected to those little faces. (I have told my whole family that I fully expect my niece to pack as many Honduras babies as possible onto the plane home. “If anyone can,” said her daddy, “it’s her.”) Let’s take joy in what God is doing today and give Him all the glory.
Lift Him up and exalt Him for His goodness. He is so priceless. He is so precious. He has seen fit to connect lives this week from hundreds of miles away, and when God’s people get together—LIFE Happens. We give Him the glory for all the fellowship among the body of Christ worldwide. We give Him glory for lives changed this week and in the days to come. We give Him all the glory that each one of us—missionaries and mission support—were able to be a part of it.
Praise His Holy Name.
“God we’re so thankful for who You are and what You are doing this week. Thank you that you provide health and strength for each day. The joy of the Lord is our strength. Thank you for Your wisdom and discernment as we serve the body of Christ this week. We are Your hands and feet, and all we do is give You glory, Lord. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.”
